This was our first time shooting and we where so excited!
The Shirley's brought their BB gun. After a small safety lesson from Uncle Andy we got started.
Angela was REALLY good at it!
of course we all took turns.
Sorry I seemed to have missed taking Kaylee bug's picture while shooting.
These are the streak marks the BBs left in the snow behind the target.
VISITING THE STATE CAPITAL'S SURROUNDING MONUMENTS!
This was the first one we came across.
This was in the sidewalk where we entered.
This was the inside. All the names where men and women that died in wars
through out the years. grouped according the war.
It was very sobering.
So many names....
This plaque was less sad.
These 4 statues where around the outside. Uncle Andy said they represent
Army, Military, Marines, and Navy. Sorry if I got that wrong. My brain is
a little less reliable right now.
these are plaques on the base of a statue off by its self.
dedicated to the women who serve.
This bell was kind of fun and a good place to get a group line up.
THE STATE CAPITAL BUILDING
The doors we went in.
The cool designs around the doors.
All marble inside.
Statue just inside the door.
WOW what a ceiling!!
We are trying to decide how high we think the ceiling is.
It is hard work so we took a break.
one of the displays about West Virginia.
Look Mom the BIGGEST quarter in the world..
Look even the stairs are marble.
The "welcome" rug.
inside the room.
Balcony seats?
We found stairs up but the doors where locked.
An other "welcome" mat.
entering the room.
The room its self.
Impressive!
What? Bumms in the State building... Oh silly me it is just Uncle Andy.
Angela had a lot of fun paying with Nathan.
It is catching
but now we want to do climbing.
The building from the outside.
one more statue Abraham Lincoln.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO VISIT US SHIRLEY COUSINS!!!
